Going into the longest stop of the trip so far, I knew that Disney was going to be a blast, but also very tiring. On the first day, we went to a water park called Blizzard Beach. It was very fun, but incredibly crowded. After swimming for a while, Dad and I headed to KIA Center to watch the Magic vs. Lakers game. We had seats very high up, but the game was still an incredible experience. Unfortunately, we got home at around 11 o’clock, and had to actually wake up the following morning.

The next day was our day for Magic Kingdom. We arrived slightly later than anticipated, but still made the most of our time. Zina and Dad had breakfast inside Cinderella’s castle while we scouted out the area and rode the Peoplemover (A ridiculous idea of what people then thought the future would be like; 6.3/10) After meeting back up with Dad and Zina, we then waited in line for an hour to ride Space Mountain (7.9/10). It was a good roller coaster, although jerky and dark. Zina was fuming after riding it, as we convinced her that it was not going to be an intense ride, because there was no way that we were leaving her outside. We then proceeded to ride one of Mom’s favorite rides, It’s A Small World (5.9/10). After these two rides, Dad wanted a calm ride with minimal continuous music, so he and I went back to the Peoplemover while the rest of the crew went to ride something else. Unfortunately, the line at the other ride took longer than they had initially thought, so Dad and I purchased lunch at the Pinocchio Village Haus outside It’s A Small World. After the rest of the family finally finished their adventure, we ate lunch together. The rest of the day went by in a whirlwind, so here is what we did in chronological order; Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (7.4/10, got wet), Bear Animatronics singing (9.99/10, The strangest and most amazing thing I have ever seen), Pirates of the Caribbean (7.8/10, very detailed) and finally the Jungle Cruise (1/10 but also amazing just the puns are the most diabolical monologue of all time). After all of these, we claimed a small spot of land to watch the fireworks. They were beautiful, of course, however I do wonder how on earth Orlando has very good air quality with those types of shows happening on the daily. Making our way out of the park was a nightmare, with only one tiny opening in the main firework viewing area to leave. It took almost half an hour to get on the boat back to our campground. The next day was more of the same, get up late, rush to get ready, and head out to the parks late. Wednesday was our day to see EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow). With several lightning lanes booked later in the day, we got some of the smaller things out of the way, such as Frozen Ever After (6.7/10) and The Land (8.5/10) After doing those things, we split up for lunch. Dad and I went to Le Cellier Steakhouse (9.8/10) and it was amazing.

The only reason it doesn’t get a full 10/10 is the fact that I was pressured into ordering marinated brussels sprouts which had a quite odd aftertaste. After lunch, we met back up with Mom, Myra and Zina, who had eaten lunch at a Moroccan place. We then went to see the Voices of Liberty, an A Capella group with some amazing harmonies and blend. After their singing, we hopped on Spaceship Earth, a Peoplemover like experience.(6.9/10) After Spaceship Earth, we went on an IMax journey of the world called Soarin’(7.5/10), and then another ride at the land(5.3/10), as well as a brief history on Disney shorts. With our Guardians of the Galaxy Lightning Lane at 6:30, we ate dinner and headed over there. Guardians of the Galaxy in my opinion is the best ride in all of the parks, so it is the only thing here that will get a 10/10. After Guardians came Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which is a favorite as well, providing a very in-depth and dynamic experience (8.9/10) That sums up our whole day at EPCOT. Thursday was a rest day, and we didn’t do much. On Friday, Mom, Myra and I went to Animal Kingdom early while Dad and Zina Sagged Behind. The ride that we were hoping to hop on was temporarily closed as we entered the park, but it opened soon and we got into the line with the length only being 10 minutes! The ride was called Expedition Everest(9.5/10), sporting a 200ft tall climb and a backwards feature that had me shaking in my boots. After Everest, we waited for the rest of our party, saw some macaws, applied way too much sunscreen, heard some crazy music made out of recycled instruments, saw an insane Lion King Playand went on a tour of the animal exhibits of Animal Kingdom. It was very cool to see all of the conservation efforts being done by Disney. After the tour, we ate a REAL lunch of mostly noodles and meat. Lunch was right by our next lightning lane to Avatar: Flight of Passage. It was another IMax experience, featuring several dips and turns, and it overall felt very real and I understand why it is the reported #1 attention at Disney World. After that, we went to a couple of shows or something, but I was very tired and forgot what we did, so I guess you might hear about that on Mom’s post. Thank you for reading. I am going to reflect on my choice to write this much and relax on the beach for the next eternity. See you then! Overall Rating: 9.5/10
I’m not sure if this review makes me want to go to Disney World or not! (except for Guardians of the Galaxy, of course). Great writing, Will!
