On our first partial day in Mackinaw City, we set up the trailer, made a dinner of fajitas on the griddle, and played some games with Uncle Tom and Aunt Julia. On Sunday, we went to a small branch building that was overflowing with members. It was great to hear all of the faithful testimonies that were shared in the Fast and Testimony meeting that day. In Sunday school, we discussed and studied the three kingdoms of glory. Our leaders planned the lesson well and I left with more knowledge than I had originally, which doesn’t always happen. After church, we went back to the trailer, built a stone man on the beach, ate shrimp tacos, and played a fun game called Five Crowns. After we finished the final round of the game, we said goodbye to Uncle Tom and Aunt Julia, and they left to go catch their flight. For the rest of the day, we went on a bike ride around the campground, got lost, and spent 30 min trying to get back to the trailer. For the rest of the day, we ate cereal for dinner, and went to bed. On Monday (happy birthday, Mom), we took a ferry to Mackinac Island. We then immediately signed up for a tour of the island including the Grand Hotel, an arch rock formation, and getting left behind at the transition between the 1st and 2nd legs of the tour :(. After we finished the tour, we ate lunch at an Irish pub, purchased some fudge, and headed back to the mainland. The best flavor of the fudge was by far, Chocolate Toffee. At 8:00, we loaded up and went to a lumberjack show. It was truly one of the most entertaining things that I have ever seen, very crowd-interactive. Each side of the audience was assigned a lumberjack to cheer for. Our lumberjack, Dakota, smoked the opposing lumberjack and even gave Zina a small wooden chair that he carved on-site in under 2 minutes. After this, we went home and somehow didn’t get to bed until 11🤦♂️. That was our final day in Mackinaw, see you in the upper peninsula! Next: Munsing, MI. Overall Rating: 8.8/10

Yay! 8.8! We miss you already, Will.
The lumberjack show sounds very interesting. Too bad you didn’t give us more details. Ahhhh, maybe next time.
